CCS Lead Teachers for Next Year Announced

The Group Teacher placements for next year have been made.  As you may know, we spend a considerable amount of time contemplating the placement of teachers.  All of our current teaching staff are going to stay here at CCS for next year.

Because we have a new 6th group (the Chipmunks:  a 1st/2nd grade class), we needed an additional Group Teacher, and the unanimous and enthusiastic choice was Holly Lash, who has been an Assistant Teacher here for the last two years.  Holly has many years of experience working with children, and is in the process of completing her California Teaching Credential.  We are so excited to welcome her as a new Group Teacher.

The Group Teacher staffing for next year will be:

Bobcats:  Terri Agbodike
Dolphins:  Holly Lash
Chipmunks:  Colleen Erdmann
Gray Whales:  Brandi McPherson
Coyotes:  Carol Ouimette
Red-Tailed Hawks:  Helen Crofoot

The placement of Assistant Teachers has to wait until we have completed interview and hiring, so we will keep you posted.  Please let Robyn or Neal know if you have any questions.  We are, even as this wonderful year winds down, beginning to feel the excitement an anticipation of a new year, our

Children’s Arts Insitute - CCS’ Summer Arts Program

CCS runs two campuses of our very popular arts camp.  One on the CCS site in Van Nuys and the second on the Westland School campus.
