In FilmKids, students will have the opportunity to participate in all sides of  filmmaking. From writing to acting, directing to producing, camera (also known as cinematography) to editing,  students will work together each day to create a variety of different film projects with real cameras and gear. So  whether you are a future documentarian, the next Spielberg, Denzel or Streep, come have fun with us and let's  make a movie together. The best way to learn is by doing. See you on-set!

In this course students will learn and explore sea, air, and land technology. students use infra-red remote controls, transmission gears and other electronic tools, and develop thinking strategies, motor skills and dedication. *Students will take home every model built throughout the course!

Students learn how to make figurines, mosaics, multi-media sculptures, and more while they learn about famous sculptors like Jeffrey Koons, Kenneth Price, and Walter Furlan! We teach the principles of sculpture, and allow students to explore with various media. Come join the fun!

In this class, campers will focus on rules and strategy of soccer as well as the development of ball  handling, passing, shooting, offensive and defensive skills. Build endurance, develop coordination and learn  how to play as a team! Players will scrimmage each week and work on skills & drills in a fun & friendly  environment. Everyone can participate regardless of ability. All equipment and materials provided.

Tell your story one frame at a time!  Students will make their own movies through the magic of photography and stop motion animation using whatever materials they choose.  Every student will receive a flash drive at the end of the session containing all the movies we made in class!

Well met, adventurers! Join D&D 101 and learn all things Dungeons & Dragons in an age appropriate setting. Seasoned Adventurers (guardians): expect cooperative storytelling, problem-solving, critical thinking, and team building. New Adventurers (students): expect excitement, shenanigans, and an unbelievable quest! No experience is necessary and all materials will be provided.

Needle felting is a creative craft where you use special barbed needles to repeatedly poke and bring wool fibers together, allowing us to sculpt 3D shapes and designs. Kids will be able to create animals, dolls or any little creature that they can imagine. This is all done by hand, making it wonderfully therapeutic and a great outlet for creative expression. Needle felting also has many other benefits like; Improving concentration and cognitive function, improving fine motor skills.

Let’s put on a show!  In this camp we will perform a scaled down version of a popular musical from start to finish through dancing, singing, and acting.  Every student will have a role and learn choreography and songs and lines as they work together to tell a story!  Crazy fun and the final show is NOT to be missed!

In this unique course, students will explore technology and sound. Students understand how sound and light work as waves. Students will create different models combining engineering and sound production. *Students will take home every model built throughout the course!

The world of abstract art is colorful, bright and exciting. In this class, we will be exploring all different types of abstract art and creating our own pieces based on the artists we study. Projects will include all varieties of mediums including paint, watercolor, marker, and paper.

Who doesn't like playing with slime? Join our Dalida for some oozy-gooey FUN! We’ll learn the secrets behind making the perfect slime. We'll be making slime batches like glitter slime, fluffy slime, galaxy slime and much more. They will become an expert on the science of making the perfect slime!

DJ, Turn it up! This class provides a high-energy environment for students to learn intermediate hip hop steps and combinations, including simple breakdancing, freestyling, and prop-use. This fun class is set to music that is appropriate and hip and will culminate in a fierce routine sure to wow the crowd.

This fashion design class is all about you! Create a “line” of clothing, from formal wear to casual chic! Come up with your own design for a school uniform and make an outfit for yourself using clothes from your closet. It will be fun and fashionable too!

Did you know there are more than 400 styles of Kung Fu practiced around the world? Most of these styles were inspired by practitioners observing insects, birds, and mammals in the wild. To this day, these numerous styles are still practiced for self defense, entertainment, and fitness. Join us this summer for an action packed challenge as students learn the fundamentals of animal Kung Fu and the basics of the (foam) sword! Ninja Ninja learns is an enrichment program introducing students to fundamental martial arts elements like blocking, striking, stances, and situational awareness in a non-contact and non-competitive environment. Through play based target drills, group games, and physical challenges, students will be immersed in the art of Kung Fu while learning to wield a (foam) sword!

Come join the Egghead Engineering Team this session as we design, build, and test huge structures! Using LEGO™, students will build mega bridges that can withstand over 4 lbs. of weight, 4 foot tall skyscrapers, shining lighthouses, and tons more. Then, we’ll try to knock em down, crush them, and gauge their stability with a variety of structural tests! At the end of the session, students will receive an Egghead Engineering Super Structures Degree proving they’re ready to build anything they can dream up!

Welcome to the greatest and most tasty competition of the summer! Grab your baking hats and aprons  because we are looking for the best amateur chefs, bakers, artists and creators out there. The Greatest  Summer Cook Off is the most fun you will have with your friends in the kitchen. Each week, students will be  divided into small teams to tackle a new culinary challenge. In The Greatest Summer Cook Off, we will not only  try new foods, create unique recipes and learn a variety of culinary skills, students will also learn how to  strategize and work together in order to compete for the week’s awards. Do you like puzzles? Inspired by the popular Escape Room concept, this is an interactive and team building  class, focused on getting kids moving, thinking outside the box and working together! Each day a new story/ challenge will be presented. Students will learn how to work together using logic and wit, to race the clock in  order to solve whatever challenge or mystery the day might bring. This year we have all new escape rooms  never seen before!

We are traveling through time and making art based on famous artists throughout history! Students will learn about new artists each week and discover art techniques based on that artist's work. We will explore introductory art skills as they create imaginative drawings, paintings, and mixed media pieces!

This is neither a beginner nor an advanced class; it’s both! In this course Kids To Kings welcomes students of all ages and experience levels. Players that are new to Chess will be introduced to The Game of Kings and learn everything from the names of the Chessmen all the way to special moves like Castling. For more experienced players we will go beyond the basics to explore Chess strategy, technique and style! The class will be fun and upbeat and will include gameplay, puzzles, and group activities. And there will be something challenging for all involved. This is truly Chess 4 Everyone!

Expelliarmus! Hogwarts’ Magic Workshop is here to amaze with spells, tricks, props, and techniques for our  young wizards. Following the Code of Gryffindor, students will be just like Harry Potter and develop new skills,  dexterity, creativity, stage presence, and self-confidence. All props are provided, and a new trick is sent home  each class! Join us as we learn tricks, have house competitions, wizard games and more!

This session in our Hand Sewing class as always, we will be having fun while learning basic and some more advanced hand stitches. Attendants will pick an individual project to work on. Depending on the participants level we will be sewing a multitude of choices- color selection, fabric options, design and proportion to help kids stimulate their creative thinking skills. Completing a project fosters a sense of accomplishment. Hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills develop through the use of the hands, and exercises in following directions along with problem solving skills are all added benefits of sewing experiences for children.

Want to learn how to do a handstand? Bend over backward in a bridge? Students in TumbKidz will get to learn a wide array of tumbling tricks while becoming more flexible and confident along the way. Each class will begin with a warm-up including split, back, and wrist stretches, and will focus on a certain skill set so that students can learn at their own pace. Let's have some fun!

Your mission? Become the world’s greatest secret agent! Once the challenge is accepted, Egghead Agents will write with invisible inks by making chemical reactions, create tools like periscopes and spy glasses while learning about mirrors, crack secret codes using cryptography, and design spy vehicles like Submarines and Planes - all on their way to becoming super spies! At the end of the session, students will receive their very own Egghead Secret Agent Degree.

Strap on your gear, grab your binoculars, and join the Egghead Explorer Squad as we fizz, pop, mix, and experiment our way around the Earth! As Egghead Explorers, students will make a sundial to keep track of the time, a flashlight to see in the dark, fake tar pits, fossils, volcanoes, snow, magnetic cars, and tons more. The best part? They get to take it all home! All Eggheads will also get their Explorer ID card and an Egghead Explorer Degree authorizing them to use real science to explore the globe!

This class will introduce the process of relief printing using a cylinder press. Students will create a multilayered print utilizing transparent colors and overlapping shapes. Students will also be introduced to materials for printmaking and create personal projects.
