From Pac Man to Mario to Minecraft and beyond, video game music is some of the most interesting, memorable, and sophisticated music that has taken the world by storm. In this course, we will listen to, discuss, and play great music from great video games! We will use drums, xylophones, glockenspiels, and more! We’ll explore the original games, investigate how the music enhances the gameplay and the stories, and learn some music theory along the way.
