Let’s put on a show! In this camp we will perform a scaled down version of a popular musical from start to finish through dancing, singing, and acting. Every student will have a role and learn choreography and songs and lines as they work together to tell a story! Crazy fun and the final show is NOT to be missed!
Cookies, cakes, and pies oh my! In this class, students will learn how to bake a variety of delectable foods, from scrumptious sugary cookies to savory pizzas! Students will learn to apply their math skills measuring and doubling recipes, the science behind ingredient selection, and express their creative talents while decorating and plating their creations. They can take home their treats to share with their families or gobble them up themselves!
Welcome to jewelry design! In this class, campers will learn the principal designs in jewelry making. Each project will focus on a different design principle, such as balance, movement, proportion, contrast, and much more! Students will be guided through the four steps of jewelry design: Intention, Design, Create, and Display. In each class, students will design and create a new jewelry piece. Come design and create jewelry for yourself, friends, or loved-ones! All materials provided.
Do you like puzzles? Inspired by the popular Escape Room concept, this is an interactive and team building class, focused on getting kids moving, thinking outside the box and working together! Each day a new story/challenge will be presented. Students will learn how to work together using logic and wit, to race the clock in order to solve whatever challenge or mystery the day might bring. This year we have all new escape rooms never seen before!

Needle felting is a creative craft where you use special barbed needles to repeatedly poke and bring wool fibers together, allowing us to sculpt 3D shapes and designs. Kids will be able to create animals, dolls or any little creature that they can imagine. This is all done by hand, making it wonderfully therapeutic and a great outlet for creative expression. Needle felting also has many other benefits like; Improving concentration and cognitive function, improving fine motor skills.
Campers develop their basketball skills in this fun and active class! They learn the fundamentals of each position and basic basketball strategies while honing their shooting, dribbling, passing, defending, and ball control skills. This class emphasizes sportsmanship, teamwork, and character development. It’s a slam dunk experience for all!
Learn what makes the commercials you watch fun and exciting! This Kommercial Kids on-camera acting class will keep your child using their imagination while creating, producing and filming silly commercials. To add to the excitement, they will invent and make their products that will be seen in their commercials. Your child will see what it takes to be that adorable kid on TV, advertising their favorite toy! *Each child will receive an edited video of its commercial after completion of the session.

Boot up and get ready to join the squad! First, it's building time. Using advanced LEGO Spike Prime Sets, students will build our hi-tech robots and creations using our codable hub, motors, colors sensors, force sensors, and distance sensors, as well as over 500 special pieces. Then, we'll test our robots to see if they pass the challenge. Challenges include maze solving, line following, robot sports, racing, and more!
This session in our Hand Sewing class as always, we will be having fun while learning basic and some more advanced hand stitches. Attendants will pick an individual project to work on. Depending on the participants level we will be sewing a multitude of choices- color selection, fabric options, design and proportion to help kids stimulate their creative thinking skills. Completing a project fosters a sense of accomplishment. Hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills develop through the use of the hands, and exercises in following directions along with problem solving skills are all added benefits of sewing experiences for children.

Ninja Ninja is an enrichment program which introduces students to popularized styles (Karate, Taekwondo, and Kung Fu) of martial arts in a non-contact and non-competitive setting.Through a play based approach, students are introduced to foundational martial arts movements such as blocking, striking, and stances. Daily activities include fun target training, group games, relay races, obstacle courses and engaging physical challenges.

In this course, we will investigate how music is used in movies by great film composers (Danny Elfman, Kris Bowers, Bernard Herman, and others), and we will create our own short film to compose and record music to. We will premiere our video at the ending share.

There’s a mystery afoot at the Science Academy! Lucky for us, the Egghead Detective Team is on the case, solving crime the only way we know how: with Science. We’ll learn about acids and bases as we search for a stolen trophy. We’ll dust for prints and study dermatoglyphics at the scene of a crime. We’ll even explore ciphers and find out how to decode mysterious messages left by the crooks. With awesome take home experiments like absorbent jelly crystals, hydrophobic sand, color spinners and more, the one thing that’s not a mystery is how much fun we’ll have each week!

In this course, we will listen to, discuss, and play great music from great video games! We will use drums, xylophones, glockenspiels, and more! We’ll explore the original games, investigate how the music enhances the gameplay and the stories, and learn some music theory along the way.

The title "Wizards Chess" is borrowed from the first Harry Potter movie in which the young heroes of the film play a larger than life game of Chess where they "become" the chess pieces and use Algebraic Chess Notation to command their side of the board to victory. In this class we will quickly learn the Notation which makes Wizards Chess possible. Then we'll get creative by deciding which piece to play and practice standing perfectly still like a Chess statue before coming to life and moving across the board to seize an enemy piece. The class will culminate in the students playing a life sized game of Wizards Chess in which they get to act out their pieces' movement, explore exciting and dramatic ways to capture and be captured, and shout out the words that will transform a board game into real life, "Knight to f3!" *All students should be confident in the basic rules of Chess. This is a perfect follow up class for any children who previously attended Beginners Chess, Chess 2.0, and especially Scholars Chess.*
Who doesn't like playing with slime? Join our Dalida for some oozy-gooey FUN! We’ll learn the secrets behind making the perfect slime. We'll be making slime batches like glitter slime, fluffy slime, galaxy slime and much more. They will become an expert on the science of making the perfect slime!
In this class children will collaborate, problem solve, practice sportsmanship, and have tons of fun playing classic and newer tabletop board games. Each class will introduce a new game and children will have opportunities to play both new and favorite games during the hour. Games will be available at different levels for different ages and skill levels.
In this class for more experienced players we will be taking Chess education to a higher level. We'll begin with a lightning fast review of the rules of the game but quickly move beyond that to dive into Chess strategy, technique and style! And there will be something challenging for all involved. In Cardboard Construction, students explore design, engineering, and creativity through hands-on building with cardboard. Using scissors, hot glue guns, and the ChompSaw (a kid-safe power tool), students learn to safely transform 2D designs into 3D structures and sculptures. Projects include constructing a cardboard house and an original sculpture, emphasizing experimentation, problem-solving, and collaboration. This class supports curiosity, material exploration, and learning through making, while building spatial reasoning, craftsmanship, and confidence with tools.

Alakazam! Welcome to Houdini’s Magic Workshop where we will put our illusion and trickery skills to the test! Each week, we will sharpen our craft of dexterity, story-telling, presentation, and most of all…Performance; all while learning mind blowing tricks students will get to take home! Mentalism, card tricks, coin tricks and classic misdirection, all just a few of the amazing skills we will learn. But a great magician is only as good as their stage presence! Therefore, we shall hone and perfect our performance techniques through a variety of exciting games and magical exercises…And did I mention students get to take new tricks home each day?!
Explore the magic of storytelling through pictures that move! In this fun and creative class, young students will learn the basics of stop motion animation using the Stop Motion Studio app. They'll bring toys and objects to life as they plan simple stories, build sets, and animate scenes frame by frame. Along the way, they'll explore beginning, middle, and end storytelling, practice keeping the camera steady, and add sound effects to their mini-movies. Perfect for little hands with big imaginations!
In Printmaking, students explore color, shape, and process through hands-on, inquiry-based printmaking experiences. Using brayers and transparent oil-based inks, students learn to build a three-layer print over time, operating a cylinder intaglio press with guidance and care. Each week, a new layer is added, allowing students to observe color mixing through overlap and deepen their understanding of shape, transparency, and composition. Additional projects include using the power of the Sun to make a cyanotype print, and explore texture through the rubbing technique. Through experimentation and reflection, students develop printmaking vocabulary, fine motor skills, visual problem-solving, and an understanding of how process and materials influence artistic outcomes.
