Welcome to jewelry design! In this class, campers will learn the principal designs in jewelry making. Each project will focus on a different design principle, such as balance, movement, proportion, contrast, and much more! Students will be guided through the four steps of jewelry design: Intention, Design, Create, and Display. In each class, students will design and create a new jewelry piece. Come design and create jewelry for yourself, friends, or loved-ones! All materials provided.

Do you like puzzles? Inspired by the popular Escape Room concept, this is an interactive and team building class, focused on getting kids moving, thinking outside the box and working together! Each day a new story/challenge will be presented. Students will learn how to work together using logic and wit, to race the clock in order to solve whatever challenge or mystery the day might bring. This year we have all new escape rooms  never seen before!

In this hands-on class, children will learn basic techniques like molding, sculpting, and decorating to bring their imagination to life. Students will design, create, and decorate their projects using a variety of mediums. Instructors will guide your child through each step, ensuring they develop new skills while having a blast! All materials are provided.

Needle felting is a creative craft where you use special barbed needles to repeatedly poke and bring wool fibers together, allowing us to sculpt 3D shapes and designs. Kids will be able to create animals, dolls or any little creature that they can imagine. This is all done by hand, making it wonderfully therapeutic and a great outlet for creative expression. Needle felting also has many other benefits like; Improving concentration and cognitive function, improving fine motor skills.

Campers develop their basketball skills in this fun and active class! They learn the fundamentals of each position and basic basketball strategies while honing their shooting, dribbling, passing, defending, and ball control skills. This class emphasizes sportsmanship, teamwork, and character development. It’s a slam dunk experience for all!

Learn what makes the commercials you watch fun and exciting! This Kommercial Kids on-camera acting class will keep your child using their imagination while creating, producing and filming silly commercials. To add to the excitement, they will invent and make their products that will be seen in their commercials. Your child will see what it takes to be that adorable kid on TV, advertising their favorite toy! *Each child will receive an edited video of its commercial after completion of the session.

Boot up and get ready to join the squad! First, it's building time. Using advanced LEGO Spike Prime Sets, students will build our hi-tech robots and creations using our codable hub, motors, colors sensors, force sensors, and distance sensors, as well as over 500 special pieces. Then, we'll test our robots to see if they pass the challenge. Challenges include maze solving, line following, robot sports, racing, and more!

This session in our Hand Sewing class as always, we will be having fun while learning basic and some more advanced hand stitches. Attendants will pick an individual project to work on. Depending on the participants level we will be sewing a multitude of choices- color selection, fabric options, design and proportion to help kids stimulate their creative thinking skills. Completing a project fosters a sense of accomplishment. Hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills develop through the use of the hands, and exercises in following directions along with problem solving skills are all added benefits of sewing experiences for children.

Ninja Ninja is an enrichment program which introduces students to popularized styles (Karate, Taekwondo, and Kung Fu) of martial arts in a non-contact and non-competitive setting.Through a play based approach, students are introduced to foundational martial arts movements such as blocking, striking, and stances. Daily activities include fun target training, group games, relay races, obstacle courses and engaging physical challenges.

In this course, students will delve into the exciting realms of Redstone and Command Blocks, two powerful tools that will elevate their gameplay to new heights. What would Star Wars be without its incredible music composed by John Williams? In this course, we will investigate how music is used in movies by great film composers (Danny Elfman, Kris Bowers, Bernard Herman, and others), and we will create our own short film to compose and record music to. We will premiere our video at the ending share.

There’s a mystery afoot at the Science Academy! Lucky for us, the Egghead Detective Team is on the case, solving crime the only way we know how: with Science. We’ll learn about acids and bases as we search for a stolen trophy. We’ll dust for prints and study dermatoglyphics at the scene of a crime. We’ll even explore ciphers and find out how to decode mysterious messages left by the crooks. With awesome take home experiments like absorbent jelly crystals, hydrophobic sand, color spinners and more, the one thing that’s not a mystery is how much fun we’ll have each week!

In this course, we will listen to, discuss, and play great music from great video games! We will use drums, xylophones, glockenspiels, and more! We’ll explore the original games, investigate how the music enhances the gameplay and the stories, and learn some music theory along the way.

The title "Wizards Chess" is borrowed from the first Harry Potter movie in which the young heroes of the film play a larger than life game of Chess where they "become" the chess pieces and use Algebraic Chess Notation to command their side of the board to victory. In this class we will quickly learn the Notation which makes Wizards Chess possible. Then we'll get creative by deciding which piece to play and practice standing perfectly still like a Chess statue before coming to life and moving across the board to seize an enemy piece. The class will culminate in the students playing a life sized game of Wizards Chess in which they get to act out their pieces' movement, explore exciting and dramatic ways to capture and be captured, and shout out the words that will transform a board game into real life, "Knight to f3!" *All students should be confident in the basic rules of Chess. This is a perfect follow up class for any children who previously attended Beginners Chess, Chess 2.0, and especially Scholars Chess.*

In this class for more experienced players we will be taking Chess education to a higher level. We'll begin with a lightning fast review of the rules of the game but quickly move beyond that to dive into Chess strategy, technique and style! Lights. Camera. Action! Have you ever wondered how movies are made? Why are there so many names at the end? Welcome to FilmKids. In FilmKids, students will have the opportunity to participate in all sides of  filmmaking. From writing to acting, directing to producing, camera (also known as cinematography) to editing,  students will work together each day to create a variety of different film projects with real cameras and gear. So  whether you are a future documentarian, the next Spielberg, Denzel or Streep, come have fun with us and let's  make a movie together. The best way to learn is by doing. See you on-set!

In Cardboard Construction, students explore design, engineering, and creativity through hands-on building with cardboard. Using scissors, hot glue guns, and the ChompSaw (a kid-safe power tool), students learn to safely transform 2D designs into 3D structures and sculptures. Projects include constructing a cardboard house and an original sculpture, emphasizing experimentation, problem-solving, and collaboration. This class supports curiosity, material exploration, and learning through making, while building spatial reasoning, craftsmanship, and confidence with tools.

Alakazam! Welcome to Houdini’s Magic Workshop where we will put our illusion and trickery skills to the test! Each week, we will sharpen our craft of dexterity, story-telling, presentation, and most of all…Performance; all while learning mind  blowing tricks students will get to take home! Mentalism, card tricks, coin tricks and classic misdirection, all just a few of  the amazing skills we will learn. But a great magician is only as good as their stage presence! Therefore, we shall hone  and perfect our performance techniques through a variety of exciting games and magical exercises…And did I mention  students get to take new tricks home each day?!

In this fun and creative class, young students will learn the basics of stop motion animation using the Stop Motion Studio app. They'll bring toys and objects to life as they plan simple stories, build sets, and animate scenes frame by frame. Along the way, they'll explore beginning, middle, and end storytelling, practice keeping the camera steady, and add sound effects to their mini-movies. Perfect for little hands with big imaginations!

In Printmaking, students explore color, shape, and process through hands-on, inquiry-based printmaking experiences. Using brayers and transparent oil-based inks, students learn to build a three-layer print over time, operating a cylinder intaglio press with guidance and care. Each week, a new layer is added, allowing students to observe color mixing through overlap and deepen their understanding of shape, transparency, and composition. Additional projects include using the power of the Sun to make a cyanotype print, and explore texture through the rubbing technique. Through experimentation and reflection, students develop printmaking vocabulary, fine motor skills, visual problem-solving, and an understanding of how process and materials influence artistic outcomes.

And if that weren't enough it's also super awesome fun! In this class we'll start at the beginning to discover all the different characters(pieces) of Chess and background information about who they are and where they come from. They’re all structures that can be built with LEGOTM bricks in this session of Egghead Engineering! Join the Egghead team as we design, build, and test LEGOTM bridges, towering skyscrapers, underground tunnels and more in order to learn the foundations of engineering and see what it takes to build the most solid structures imaginable. Students learn how to make figurines, mosaics, multi-media sculptures, and more while exploring the work of famous sculptors such as Jeffrey Koons, Takashi Murakami, and Walter Furlan! This class teaches the principles of sculpture and allows students to experiment with various media in a fun, creative, and engaging environment!

Needle felting is a creative craft where you use special barbed needles to repeatedly poke and bring wool fibers together, allowing us to sculpt 3D shapes and designs. Kids will be able to create animals, dolls or any little creature that they can imagine. This is all done by hand, making it wonderfully therapeutic and a great outlet for creative expression. Needle felting also has many other benefits like; Improving concentration and cognitive function, improving fine motor skills.

In this exciting new dance class, students will learn to dance like HUNTR/X to music from the hit movie, KPop Demon Hunters! How It's Done, Soda Pop, and Golden are a few of the songs these future hunters will dance to in order to strengthen the Honmoon. No experience necessary! Let's have some fun!

Ready! Set! Hike! Students will learn football fundamentals, develop strategy and have fun with their friends. Build endurance, develop coordination and learn how to play as a team! Games will be played each week after working on skills and drills in a fun and safe learning environment. This is a NON-CONTACT sports class. All equipment and materials provided.

Ninja Ninja is an enrichment program which introduces students to popularized styles (Karate, Taekwondo, and Kung Fu) of martial arts in a non-contact and non-competitive setting.Through a play based approach, students are introduced to foundational martial arts movements such as blocking, striking, and stances. Daily activities include fun target training, group games, relay races, obstacle courses and engaging physical challenges.

In Cardboard Construction, students explore design, engineering, and creativity through hands-on building with cardboard. Using scissors, hot glue guns, and the ChompSaw (a kid-safe power tool), students learn to safely transform 2D designs into 3D structures and sculptures. Projects include constructing a cardboard house and an original sculpture, emphasizing experimentation, problem-solving, and collaboration. This class supports curiosity, material exploration, and learning through making, while building spatial reasoning, craftsmanship, and confidence with tools.

Challenge your survival skills in this fun,high-energy competition class! Let your imagination run wild as you explore, compete, race, and build. Your journey will take you on scavenger hunts that will include fun games; puzzles, relays and team building challenges that will keep you on your toes. Create your silly team names as you race to the finish line. It’s time to get Wild and Wacky if you dare in this outrageous Survivor Quest class!

This session in our Hand Sewing class as always, we will be having fun while learning basic and some more advanced hand stitches. Attendants will pick an individual project to work on. Depending on the participants level we will be sewing a multitude of choices- color selection, fabric options, design and proportion to help kids stimulate their creative thinking skills. Completing a project fosters a sense of accomplishment. Hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills develop through the use of the hands, and exercises in following directions along with problem solving skills are all added benefits of sewing experiences for children.

Welcome to the greatest and most tasty competition of the summer! Grab your baking hats and aprons  because we are looking for the best amateur chefs, bakers, artists and creators out there. The Greatest  Summer Cook Off is the most fun you will have with your friends in the kitchen. Each week, students will be divided into small teams to tackle a new culinary challenge. In The Greatest Summer Cook Off, we will not only try new foods, create unique recipes and learn a variety of culinary skills, students will also learn how to strategize and work together in order to compete for the week’s awards. Will your team win Best Presentation? Or Best Technique? Or will your team win the day’s top Star Award? Come find out this summer! Ready. Set.  Cook!

Standing on your hands? Check! Balancing in a bridge on one leg? Easy peasy! Students will work on artistic acrobatics in this class, with an emphasis on bridge work, handstands, headstands, and limbers (think landing a handstand into a bridge). I have been certified through Acrobatic Arts for 7 years and absolutely adore teaching beginners and intermediate students how to move their bodies in a safe and fun way. Lots of stretching, conditioning, and flexibility/strength training happens in this class, culminating in a show-stopping routine for parents at open house!

The title "Wizards Chess" is borrowed from the first Harry Potter movie in which the young heroes of the film play a larger than life game of Chess where they "become" the chess pieces and use Algebraic Chess Notation to command their side of the board to victory. In this class we will quickly learn the Notation which makes Wizards Chess possible. Then we'll get creative by deciding which piece to play and practice standing perfectly still like a Chess statue before coming to life and moving across the board to seize an enemy piece. The class will culminate in the students playing a life sized game of Wizards Chess in which they get to act out their pieces' movement, explore exciting and dramatic ways to capture and be captured, and shout out the words that will transform a board game into real life, "Knight to f3!" *All students should be confident in the basic rules of Chess. This is a perfect follow up class for any children who previously attended Beginners Chess, Chess 2.0, and especially Scholars Chess.*

Brainstorm, Storyboard, Pencil, Ink, and Color. In this special comic book class, create a character that will  explore the future as you see it. When you zoom light years ahead, what will you find? After the session is  over, the comic booklets are taken back to our studio and professionally edited and put together! When  complete, the comic books will be delivered to the students and are theirs to keep. All materials and supplies  provided. Returning students are encouraged and new comic book creators welcome!

Lights. Camera. Action! Have you ever wondered how movies are made? Why are there so many names at the end? Welcome to FilmKids. In FilmKids, students will have the opportunity to participate in all sides of  filmmaking. From writing to acting, directing to producing, camera (also known as cinematography) to editing,  students will work together each day to create a variety of different film projects with real cameras and gear. So  whether you are a future documentarian, the next Spielberg, Denzel or Streep, come have fun with us and let's  make a movie together. The best way to learn is by doing. See you on-set!

In Beginning Ceramics, students explore the creative possibilities of clay through hands-on, process-based learning. Using low-fire clay, students learn foundational hand-building techniques such as pinch, coil, and slab construction, along with scoring and using slip to join forms. Campers design and create functional and expressive clay projects, then experiment with basic glazing techniques to add color, texture, and personal expression. This class supports progressive arts philosophy by encouraging curiosity, problem-solving, material exploration, and reflective thinking. Students build visual arts vocabulary, fine motor skills, and an understanding of the ceramic process from clay to finished glazed artwork.

Who doesn't like playing with slime? Join us for some oozy-gooey FUN! We’ll learn the secrets behind making the perfect slime. We'll be making slime batches like glitter slime, fluffy slime, galaxy slime and much more. They will become an expert on the science of making the perfect slime!

Do you like puzzles? Inspired by the popular Escape Room concept, this is an interactive and team building class, focused on getting kids moving, thinking outside the box and working together! Each day a new story/challenge will be presented. Students will learn how to work together using logic and wit, to race the clock in order to solve whatever challenge or mystery the day might bring. This year we have all new escape rooms  never seen before!

In Printmaking, students explore color, shape, and process through hands-on, inquiry-based printmaking experiences. Using brayers and transparent oil-based inks, students learn to build a three-layer print over time, operating a cylinder intaglio press with guidance and care. Each week, a new layer is added, allowing students to observe color mixing through overlap and deepen their understanding of shape, transparency, and composition. Additional projects include using the power of the Sun to make a cyanotype print, and explore texture through the rubbing technique. Through experimentation and reflection, students develop printmaking vocabulary, fine motor skills, visual problem-solving, and an understanding of how process and materials influence artistic outcomes.
