Katie Thomas is the Librarian at Children’s Community School and has been part of the CCS community for seven years. Inspired by her own cherished childhood memories of books (Ramona forever!), Katie is passionate about sharing the joy of reading and helping students find stories that speak to them. She loves CCS’s progressive approach, where students are encouraged to explore a wide and diverse selection of books, use literature as a gateway to thoughtful conversations about history and humanity, and grow as confident readers in a community that celebrates every kind of reader.
