Deborah Kaplan is a Lead Teacher and began teaching at CCS in the fall of 2023. She believes learning should be joyful and grounded in a safe environment where children feel seen, heard, and valued. Drawn to a child-centered approach, she values progressive education for its emphasis on following students’ interests and curiosity. By meeting each child where they are and using a wide range of materials and resources, she is able to thoughtfully support, extend, and enrich every learner’s growth.
