Lynn Kuratomi joined the community after a career of more than twenty years in film and television, first discovering the school as a parent during a chance visit that introduced her to progressive education. Drawn to its emphasis on independence, experiential learning, and student voice, she later began working as a therapeutic companion and has since supported students across grades K–6. Lynn values progressive education for the way it nurtures curiosity and critical thinking, and she continues to find meaning in learning alongside students each year.
